Playing the harmonica during the IB has been a mechanism to reduce stress. I had never played an insturment before and at first, being able to play the harmonica "fluently" was something amazing. Now, I am much, much, much, better and every time I'm stressed I start playing it. Not only it stops my stress but it is just a pleasure for me to hear myself playing the harmonica. It may sound rather narcisistic but I am just very proud of myself and I find it incredible to listen to myself when I started playing and compare the skills to the ones I have right now.
I have discovered that playing instruments is in fact possible. I had always been surrounded by instruments in my familly, almost primordially the piano and guitar. I found it very hard to play these instruments and ended up believing I was just incapable of playing an insturment right. I have learnt a very improtant lesson though. With sufficent work, and sufficent hours, one can accomplish anything. Being able to play the harmonica as I play it right now is a very valuable experience which has taught me that I can reach my objectives if I work at them.
Below there is a link to some recordings I have done during this time playing mi harmonica, enjoy!
