Reflections - Organic Farm

Before the Activity

It is a new experience for me! I am glad we are doing an activity which is something we have never tried before. I am looking forward to this activity

During the Activity

I am a leader of this activity and therefore, I have to work hard to do the main organization of the activity. We have been meeting with an expert on Organic Farming and has given us advice on how to construct our Organic Farm and how to keep it alive. One of the other leaders of the activity (we are three leaders) and I have met and have bought all the wood supply needed for the construction of the organic farm itself. We will group all of our classmates which take part in this activity to construct the organic farm. It's hard being the leader. We have to do a considerable amount of work on top of our academic work which is very challenging. Moreover, we are in charge of organizing everything, and assignments in big groups tend to go undone...

After the Activity

The Organic Farm is now actually something more than an idea. It is there! I am proud of it, and so are all of my classmates. I think we will be able to do something very interesting with this activity and hope we will be able to keep it alive. I would also like other classes of our school who luckily enough would be able to take care of the organic farm and use it as a CAS activity to respect it for we have worked hard to make it go. Below are a series of images I have taken of the Organic Farm itself and of the construction process.
