I will be going one time more to Bakuva. Even though this will be my third time, I have already developped an emotional bond with the children there. I am very grateful of taking place in this activity. As always, we will be going to take care of them for two hours and a half and play with them or help them with their homework if needed.
During the Activity:
I personally didn't want to tell the children that this would probably be the last day they see us. If everything goes as I plan, next year I will be living in London and will not be able to come to Bakuva. Moreover, this day was special because we are in easter vacations and the children there get some activitites organized which include for example sports. There was a sign on the door that redirected us to the school which is located right next to the establishment. However, when we got there we briefly met with the children and then left because they were having a tournament taking place at the school and they did not need us to take care of them that day.
After the Activity:
I can finally conclude that this activity has been a life-changing activity. Generally, I would still say what I said in my previous reflection about this activity having changed me to an emotional level. I feel much more confortable with children and it makes me proud to feel I am a good example for them to follow. Again, I am very grateful for this experience and in the future, wherever I am I will certainly look forward to similar experiences.
