We will go this time with the Hiking Club not to a mountain but to a lighthouse. This lighthouse is well known for the hidden bunkers around it, built in the civil war, at Gorliz. I am happy we are not going to a mountain this time because I belive the Hiking Club can go to more "creative" places in a sense. Again, the event has been very well organized and am looking forward to it.
During the Activity:
I did not catch the train on time and therefore came in late to the event. My companions started the hiking without me and my brother (as they should've, I dont reproach that). The only issue was that we got kind of lost. It took us time, much more than the time it took to the rest of the group, to rech the lighthouse, Thisis because we took a different route which was much steeper, challenging and longer. Later on, once we got there, we reunited with our group and explored the bunker together.
After the Activity:
After the activity, we were all very tired. However, after you do such a degree of physical exercise you feel much more relaxed and because of that feeling I think all of the effort of going to these hikes is worth. I am really looking forward to next event and hope everything goes as easy when it comes to organization until now.
The following learninig outcomes have been met by now:
2. Undertaken new challenges (Mountain hiking is something I do sometimes on my leisure
time but I haven’t taken it seriously. As well, I always go hiking on the same mountain, making
this very repetitive.)
3. Planned and initiated activities (We will have to plan an schedule to decide which
mountain to climb, when, organize dates, etc.
